Abstract

Kota Bandung sebagai ibukota provinsi Jawa Barat merupakan salah satu tujuan wisata yang banyak diminati oleh wisatawan. Besarnya minat wisatawan berkunjung ke Bandung memicu peningkatan peluang dalam sektor bisnis baik dalam objek wisatanya itu sendiri maupun usaha-usaha lain yang berhubungan dengan aktivitas wisata seperti akomodasi hotel, transportasi, kuliner dan lain sebagainya. Perkembangan dunia perhotelan dalam upaya penyediaan jasa akomodasi pariwisata di Indonesia semakin hari semakin menunjukkan perkembangan yang sangat pesat. Isu terkini yang terjadi di kasawan Setiabudi adalah cuaca yang seringkali berubah dari panas ke dingin. Karena pada kawasan iklim tropis maka curah hujan dan kecepatan angin iklim tropis juga tinggi. Maka harus diperhatikan kondisi iklim yang terjadi. Agar bangunan memiliki desain yang sesuai dengan segala macam kondisi yang dapat terjadi. Desain Arsitektur Tropis pada proyek ini memiliki ciri bentuk atap hunian yang miring, teritisan yang cukup lebar, dan sirkulasi silang. Penggunaan material yang umum dipakai adalah material alam yang sumbernya bisa didapat di sekitarnya. Desain Arsitektur Tropis dapat di implementasikan melalui penghawaan alami yang diterapkan pada bangunan dan teritisan untuk menahan sinar matahari dan air hujan. --- Bandung as the capital of West Java province is one of the many popular tourist destinations by tourists. The amount of tourists visiting Bandung trigger increase the odds in the business sector both tourist attraction itself and other businesses associated with tourism activities such as hotel accommodation, transportation, food and so forth. The development of the hospitality world in the provision of tourism accommodation services in Indonesia increasingly showing rapid growth. The current issue that occurs in Kawasan Setiabudi id the weather that often changes from hot to cold condition. Because in the tropical climate region the rainfall and wind speed of the tropical climate are also high. Then it must be considered the climate conditions that occur. So that thr building has a design that suits all kinds of conditions that can occur. The Tropical Architecture Design on this project has the characteristics of sloping residential roofs, wide eaves, and accros circulation. The use of material commonly used is natural material whose source can be obtained in the vicinity. Tropical Architecture Design can be implemented through natural ventilation that is applied to buildings and eaves to resist sunlight and rainwater.
