Abstract

Kota Bandung sebagai pusat kegiatan di Jawa Barat memiliki peran penting dalam sektor pemerintahan, pariwisata, jasa dan merupakan kota strategis dalam berbisnis. Dampaknya banyak pelaku bisnis dan wisatawan yang datang ke kota ini sehingga dibutuhkan jasa akomodasi berupa hotel bisnis dengan fasilitas-fasilitas sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen. Dalam Arsitektur Modern, gaya hidup berimbas kepada keinginan untuk memiliki bangunan yang simpel, bersih dan fungsional. Hal ini merupakan gaya hidup dari para pebisnis dimana kehidupan menuntut gaya hidup yang lebih cepat, fungsional dan efisien. Karakteristik dari kebanyakan pebisnis tersebut diaplikasikan dalam akomodasi berupa bangunan hotel bisnis dengan pendekatan kubisme. Konsep kubisme diimplementasikan pada desain bangunan yang simpel, efisien, tidak rumit dan tidak banyak ornamen yang digunakan. Selain itu pemilihan material yang simpel dan efisien pada saat pembangunan merupakan bagian dari konsep kubisme. --- Bandung City as the center of activities in West Java has an important role in the sector of government, tourism, services and is a strategic city in business. The impact of many business people and tourists who come to the city so it is needed accommodation services in the form of business hotels with facilities according to the needs of consumers. In Modern architecture, lifestyle is the desire to have a simple, clean and functional building. It is a lifestyle of business people where life demands a faster, functional and efficient lifestyle. The characteristics of most businessmen are applied in the accommodation in the form of business hotel building with cubism approach. The concept of Cubism is implemented in the design of buildings that are simple, efficient, uncomplicated and not much ornament used. In addition, simple and efficient material selection at the time of development is part of Cubism concept.
