Abstract
BOD7COD Leachate from the old7completed landfill is very low so that chemical oxidation proce.ss can he used to treat it. This research was using ozone (Os) and O s/UV process to treat leachate from old landfill. The aim of this re.search is to compare and contrast the efficiency of hoth pmcesses hy a semi hatch contactor worth continuous ozone gas supply as many as 3 L7minutes to the contactor filled worth 1 L leachate samples. O z7UV processes show better performance than O z alone. O z7UV can remove iurkidiy as many as 8G@ and Os processes only half of that (4ñ"Xo). Conductiviy of the .sample was decrease until 4i"Xo on O y’UV proce.ises meanwhile on Oz processes it was only 22"Xo. d6"Xo of Organic aromatic as UV 254 where remo sed on O3/UV processes in the meantime O3 processes only remove 51°Xo
