Abstract

Hijab is a head cover for Muslim women. Hijab can be developed as an android based application. Hijab application these day just provide hijab model. This thing is considered not enough, because women these days are selective to choose hijab model which modern and correct according to the islam syari’ah. These problems gave rise to an idea to make hijab android based application. Hijab application provides modern hijab models according to islam and based on the user faces. The method used in this application is Prototype. The methods for classification process that distinguishes types of faces are Canny Operator and Template Matching Correlation. Input for this application is image from user’s face which then shows the result from face detection process. The test on this application uses quisioner. Result from this quisioner can be inferred to determine the level of satisfaction of users in using hijab application. The quisioner uses two methods which are semantic differential method and servqual method. Semantic differential uses analysis belief that has four main parameter levels, namely ease application, display application, users of interest to the application and educational value on the application as a learning media in using hijab. The results obtained from the quisioner show that the learning media is the best atrribute. While serqval method consists of five dimensions that are tangible, reliability, assurance, emphaty and responsiveness. The results of data processing of these elements indicate 3.86 as an average. This value is as close as four which means the quality of services are good. Using this application, women who wear hijab, would informed to use hijab correctly.
