Abstract

Kota Bandung merupakan salah satu dari empat kota besar yang menjadi daya tarik bagi wisatawan baik dari luar maupun dari dalam negeri. Wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Kota Bandung tidak semuanya datang untuk berlibur, melainkan ada beberapa wisatawan yang datang untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaannya. Untuk memenuhi hal tersebut maka akan direncanakan sebuah bangunan hotel dengan klasifikasi bintang empat dengan konsep bisnis hotel yang letaknya berada di pusat Kota Bandung. Bangunan hotel harus didukung oleh berbagai aspek agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan bagi pengunjung, bukan hanya pelayanan yang baik tetapi perlu adanya perancangan yang baik terhadap desain hotel serta fasilitasfasilitas penunjang lainnya yang dibutuhkan oleh pengunjung hotel. Struktur merupakan aspek yang paling penting bagi bangunan. Pada prinsipnya, struktur berfungsi untukmendukung keberadaan elemen nonstruktur dan menyalurkan beban ke tanah dengan aman. Manusia, terutama para arsitek yang memiliki ide yang banyak sampai menciptakan cara kekuatan struktur bangunan. Dengan berdasarkan contoh dari bangunan yang satu ke bangunan yang lain maka dapat terciptalah ide yang baru juga. Exterior diagrid atau lebih dikenal dengan struktur silang. Sistem struktur ini telah banyak digunakan oleh berbagai arsitek dari segala penjuru dunia. Tema perancangan struktur sebagai elemen estetika dipilih sebagai penerapan kedalam desain rancangannya dengan menggunakan sistem exterior diagrid. Penerapannya di dalam bangunan dengan cara mengubah struktur utama bangunan hotel bintang 4 dengan bentuk silang yang terkenal lebih kuat dan kaku untuk bangunan. --- The city of Bandung is one of four major cities that attract tourists both from outside and from within the country. Travelers who visit the city of Bandung do not all come for vacation, but there are some tourists who come to complete their work. To fulfill this, a hotel with a four star classification will be planned with a hotel business concept that is located in the center of Bandung. The hotel building must be supported by various aspects in order to meet the needs of visitors, not only good service but the need for good design of hotel designs and other supporting facilities needed by hotel visitors. Structure is the most important aspect of a building. In principle, the structure functions to support the existence of non-structural elements and to deliver loads to the soil safely. Humans, especially architects who have many ideas to create a way of building structure strength. Based on examples from one building to another, a new idea can also be created. Exterior diagrid or better known as cross structure. This structural system has been widely used by various architects from all corners of the world. The theme of structural design as an aesthetic element was chosen as an application into the design of the design using the diagrid exterior system. Its application in buildings by changing the main structure of 4-star hotel buildings with cross shapes is known to be stronger and stiffer for buildings.
