Abstract

Kota Bandung sebagai ibukota provinsi Jawa Barat merupakan salah satu tujuan wisata yang banyak diminati oleh wisatawan. Besarnya minat wisatawan berkunjung ke Bandung memicu peningkatan peluang dalam sektor bisnis baik dalam objek wisatanya itu sendiri maupun usaha-usaha lain yang berhubungan dengan aktivitas wisata seperti akomodasi hotel, transportasi, kuliner dan lain sebagainya. Perkembangan dunia perhotelan dalam upaya penyediaan jasa akomodasi pariwisata di Indonesia semakin hari semakin menunjukkan perkembangan yang sangat pesat. Isu terkini yang terjadi di hampir seluruh belahan bumi adalah global warming, dan isu yang terjadi di kawasan sekitar jalan sudirman adalah tingginya volume kendaraan yang melewati Jalan Sudirman, ditambah dengan kondisi kawasan yang minim sekali ditumbuhi oleh tumbuhan hijau. Desain biophilik pada proyek ini bertujuan memfasilitasi interaksi timbal balik antara manusia dengan alam serta sistem kehidupan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup manusia secara fisiologis maupun psikologis. Karena kondisi alam pada site kawasan berupa perkotaan yang cukup tinggi intesitas aktivitasnya maka diharapkan bangunan ini dapat memberikan suasana baru bagi yang menghuninya, suasana yang berbanding terbalik dengan keadaan perkotaan yang hiruk pikuk di minimalisir dengan konsep desain biopilik pada bangunan ini. Desain biophilik dapat di implementasikan melalui berbagai cara dalam lingkungan buatan. Ia menghubungkan penggunanya baik langsung, tidak langsung mau pun simbolis melalui elemen elemen eksterior dan interior, ornamentasi dengan lingkungan luarnya. --- Bandung as the capital of West Java province is one of the many popular tourist destinations by tourists. The amount of tourists visiting Bandung trigger increase the odds in the business sector both tourist attraction itself and other businesses associated with tourism activities such as hotel accommodation, transportation, food and so forth. The development of the hospitality world in the provision of tourism accommodation services in Indonesia increasingly showing rapid growth. The current issue that occurs in almost all parts of the world is global warming, and the issues that occur in the area around the road sudirman is the high volume of vehicles passing through the road sudirman, coupled with the minimal condition of the area covered by green plants, biophilic design the aim of this projectfacilitating the reciprocal interaction between man and nature as well as a system of life to improve the quality of human life physiological and psychological. Due to the natural conditions at the site in the form of an urban area of high enough intensity of its activity it is expected that this building can provide a new atmosphere for those who inhabit it, the atmosphere is inversely proportional to the state of the urban bustle minimized by the design concept biopilik in this building.Biophilik design can be implemented in various ways in an artificial environment. He connects users directly, not directly or symbolically through exterior and interior elements, ornamentation with the outside environment.
