Abstract
The transport sector is the largest contributor to fossil fuel emissions in Indonesia. (Greenpeace, 2022). 80% of emissions come from the transport sector, followed by the industrial sector, forest fires, and domestic activities (Budi Haryanto, 2018). One of the transport sectors that contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution is the aviation sector. In this study, an inventory of exhaust emissions from airport activities was conducted by referring to the International Civil Aviation Organization document number 9889. The research method used is to carry out an emissions inventory by calculation using Excel workbook tools. The calculation level chosen in this study is the simplest calculation level, tier level 1. This is based on the availability of the data collected. There are four main activities that are measured as activities that have the potential to produce exhaust emissions. The results show that the aircraft emissions sector is the largest producer of air pollutant parameters. The air pollutants produced are NOx, CO, HC and SOx. One of the efforts that can be made to reduce emissions is to switch to the use of alternative fuels such as biofuels. Keywords: Air; Aircraft; Emissions; Airport
