Abstract

Arsitektur di Indonesia sedang mengalami krisis identitas, di mana bangunan yang berdiri saat ini sering tidak mencerminkan identitas asli Indonesia. Gaya arsitektur nusantara sering dianggap kuno dan diganti dengan gaya arsitektur asing yang merusak identitas suatu daerah. Oleh karena itu Arsitektur Neo Vernakular muncul sebagai bentuk kombinasi arsitektur modern dengan arsitektur vernakular. Hal ini menjadi latar belakang pendekatan rancangan hotel bintang 4 dengan mengangkat identitas lokal yang terletak di Bandung dengan menerapkan tema Sunda Neo-Vernakular. Pemilihan tema ini diharapkan dapat membentuk suasana serta nuansa lokalitas dengan pemakaian esensi bambu dalam material yang terbarukan. Teman ini sangat tepat sebagai media untuk memperkenalkan identitas suatu daerah. Bambu adalah bahan lokal yang sering dijumpai pada bangunan tradisional Sunda, selain itu bambu juga digunakan didalam keseharian masyarakat Sunda seperti alat musik, peralatan rumah tangga, maupun kerajinan tangan. Penerapan tema perancangan oleh esensi Bambu sebagai unsur estetika bangunan terlihat baik pada fasad bangunan maupun dalam suasana ruang bangunan. --- Architecture in Indonesia is experiencing an identity crisis, where buildings that stand today often do not reflect the true identity of Indonesia. The archipelago's architectural style is often considered ancient and replaced with a foreign architectural style that destroys the identity of an area. Therefore Neo Vernacular Architecture appears as a form of a combination of modern architecture with vernacular architecture. This is the background of the approach to the design of 4- star hotels by elevating local identities located in Bandung by applying the Neo-Vernacular Sundanese theme. The selection of this theme is expected to form an atmosphere and nuance of the locality by using the essence of bamboo in renewable materials. This friend is very appropriate as a medium to introduce the identity of a region. Bamboo is a local material that is often found in traditional Sundanese buildings, besides that bamboo is also used in everyday Sundanese communities such as musical instruments, household appliances, and handicrafts. The application of the design theme by the essence of Bamboo as a building aesthetic element is seen both in the facade of the building and in the atmosphere of the building space
