Abstract

Bandung adalah kota yang memiliki populasi yang besar, juga merupakan salah satu tujuan rekreasi dan bisnis. Salah satu fasilitas yang menunjang ini adalah fasilitas hotel. Minat yang tinggi dalam kegiatan rekreasi dan bisnis adalah salah satu alasan dari tingginya permintaan hotel. Pembangunan hotel di kota cukup tinggi, terutama di Kota Bandung. Hotel ini memiliki fungsi sebagai bangunan sementara untuk tujuan rekreasi dan bisnis. Sudirman merupakan kawasan perdagangan dan layanan yang memiliki keseragaman bangunan dengan fungsi komersial di sepanjang jalan. Konsep desain hotel ini berfokus pada fasad dengan gaya arsitektur minimalis melalui bentuk dan ornamen yang minim. Gaya arsitektur minimalis ini muncul pada abad ke-20 dan berlangsung sampai saat ini, Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe adalah seorang arsitek jerman yang menjadi pelopor dari arsitektur minimalis. Oleh karena itu, tema yang dipilih adalah penerapan prinsip arsitektur minimalis. Arsitektur minimalis ini berfokus pada penggunaan garis tegak lurus, bukaan lebar dan warna monokrom. Penggunaan bentuk geometris diterapkan pada bagian fasad dan bentuk denah bangunan, hal ini bertujuan untuk memberi fokus pada konsep minimalis yang memiliki kesan sederhana. Konsep dari arsitektur minimalis adalah mengoptimalkan fungsi ruang agar menjadi efektif dan efisien. --- Bandung is a city that has a large population, it is also one of recreation and business purposes. One facility that support these is hotel facilities. High interest in recreation and business activities is one reason for the high demand of the hotel. The construction of hotels in cities is quite high, especially in Bandung. The hotel has a function as a temporary building for recreational and business purposes. Sudirman is a trading area and service that has uniformity of building with commercial functions along the road. The design concept of this hotel focus on facades with minimalist architectural style through minimal shapes and ornaments. This minimalist architectural style emerged in the 20th century and until now, Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe was a German architect who was a pioneer of minimalist architecture. Therefore, the chosen theme is the implementation of minimalist architecture principles. This minimalist architecture focuses on the use of firmly, perpendicular lines, wide openings and monochrome colors. The use of geometric shapes is applied to the façade and the shape of the floor plan, it aims to focus on the minimalist concept that has a simple impression. The Concept of minimalist architecture is optimizing the function of space to be effective and efficient.
