Abstract

In the current condition at Bina Marga, management and reporting of road conditions are still done manually, which uses paper document and also analog map to show the road location which has been surveyed. Therefore, in this observation the society will get involved of giving input into damaged road’s reporting. The society will report digitally how the conditions of the damaged roads into android platform, by sending photo, location, and the pasted time through geospatial metadata by using Geotagging that takes advantage of GPS. Geotagging puts in the data of EXIF headers that contain image, time, date and also coordinate (Latitude, Longitude, and Altitude) in a digital image. To find the tolerance value of the data that has been gathered from the location coordinate, it needs testing at the different places to get the accuracy of reporting data that has been taken.
