Abstract
PT. X is a state-owned company which operates in the field of electronics for industry, signaling systems and state security. Waste processing in this industry uses anoxic - oxic technology. This technology was chosen because it is commonly used in domestic wastewater processing and has been proven to be able to process domestic wastewater at an efficient cost and with relatively small land requirements. The processing unit used at PT. X, namely in preliminary treatment, namely septic tank, fat separating tank, control tank, collecting tank, then in primary treatment, namely sedimentation 1, and in secondary treatment, namely anoxic tank, aeration tank, sedimentation II and finally there is tertiary treatment. This research aims to identify the source of liquid waste produced by PT. X, identifies the quality of domestic wastewater used before and after processing, optimizes the management of domestic liquid waste at PT. X, both from quality standards and from the units used, then after processing and analysis, provides the necessary recommendations for PT wastewater treatment. X. The quality standard that is used as a reference in waste water treatment is PERMEN LH No. 68 of 2014 concerning domestic wastewater quality standards from the results of processing that has been carried out and analysis of quality standards, liquid waste contained in PT. X is very good, it can be seen from the liquid waste produced that meets the required quality standards, but in the processing unit used there is still a mismatch between the condition of the existing unit and the design criteria used. Efficiency parameters obtained in wastewater treatment at PT. X, namely BOD of 93.53%, COD of 87.91%, TSS of 93.20%, ammonia of 97.98%, and total coliform of 97.98%. Optimizing management that can be carried out is re-checking each IPAL unit used in this industry.
