Abstract

Hospital is a healthcare institution that provides comprehensive individual healthcare services. Hospitals are also capable of generating wastewater, which is treated using a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). One of the hospitals that already has a WWTP is RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung. WWTP needs to be evaluated because it has not been updated since 2011. The purpose of this evaluation is to identify the sources, quality, and quantity of the existing WWTP. The method used in this research is by conducting unit inspections and interviews with field officers. The evaluation was conducted by calculating the detention time parameters of each unit, and the results of the unit evaluation found that several units need to be redesigned. The units consist of the Grease trap unit, Equalization unit, and Bioreactor unit. Therefore, it is concluded that a redesign of the units exceeding the quality standard for detention time parameters is necessary. Keyword: Hospital, Wastewater, WWTP
