Abstract

PT X, West Bandung Regency is a privately owned pharmaceutical company that has been established for more than 15 years. The company is known to have passed the BPOM RI and International Standards in producing its drugs. As a drug manufacturer, this company has a big responsibility in managing Hazardous and Toxic Waste (B3). As population growth continues to increase, the need for medicines is also getting higher, which in turn leads to an increase in the amount of waste generated. The management of hazardous and toxic waste is crucial, given its impact on the environment and public health. This study aims to evaluate the company's hazardous waste management system. The evaluation is conducted to ensure that waste management is in accordance with applicable regulations, as well as to identify potential improvements in order to support sustainability and compliance with environmental regulations. The results of this evaluation are expected to provide recommendations that are useful in improving hazardous and toxic waste management at PT X. Evaluation of Hazardous and Toxic Waste (B3) management at PT X based on Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 and other related regulations, the accumulated level of conformity for its management activities falls into the “good” category.
