Abstract

This research aims to analyze the quality of rainwater in Cimahi City during the period February-March 2021 and February-October 2022 and evaluate the potential of rainwater as an alternative source of clean water. This research focuses on testing water quality parameters in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 2 of 2023 concerning Environmental Health. The results showed that in the first period, four parameters namely color, turbidity, pH, and fluoride exceeded the set quality standards, while in the second period, two parameters namely turbidity and pH did not meet the standards. These findings emphasize the importance of regular monitoring of rainwater quality in Cimahi City to ensure the sustainability and safety of its use as a clean water source. This research is expected to be a reference in the management of rainwater as a potential resource for drinking water needs.
