Abstract

In an effort to improve proper sanitation for the community in Cianjur Regency can be done through adequate sanitation access, adequate infrastructure facilities must be built according to the established technical standards, namely the PUPR Ministerial Regulation No. 04/PRT/M/2017. However, most people in Indonesia do not use infrastructure with the correct specifications. In addition, the existing condition of disposing the dewatered sludge to plantation areas and open land still occurs. The non-operational condition of the STP causes the STP building to suffer more damage. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the STP from the aspects of evaluating the physical condition and function of the existing treatment unit after construction, so that STP X in Cianjur Regency is operated optimally in accordance with its function. The research was conducted by direct observation at STP X and interviews with duty officers and the surrounding community. According to the interviews, many of the surrounding communities already have their own septic tanks but they do not meet the standards. Some of the aspects evaluated were location suitability, STP units, infrastructure and facilities, and asset performance.
