Abstract

Hazardous waste is waste that can cause harm or damage to humans and the environment if not properly managed. West Java is a large province with 97,901 companies in 2022. However, many of these companies have not yet managed their hazardous waste in accordance with Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021. A detailed technical document is a requirement for companies that have a hazardous waste temporary storage facility. The objective of the evaluation of detailed technical documents for hazardous waste at the West Java Provincial Environmental Agency is to analyze and review the conformity of the detailed technical documents submitted to the West Java Provincial Environmental Agency. The research method begins with a literature study followed by an internship at the West Java Provincial Environmental Agency with the collection of necessary data such as reports on detailed technical data of B3 waste TPS, which are then processed and compiled into a report. Five companies from various sectors were evaluated, and based on the five company documents, there are still many errors that do not comply and do not meet several requirements of the applicable regulations.
