Abstract
Hazardous waste management must be considered in accordance with applicable regulations, so as not to cause problems to the environment and humans. PT Pudak Scientific produces waste, one of which is hazardous waste, so that the waste must be managed properly in accordance with applicable regulations. The management of B3 waste from the technical aspect includes the stages of reduction, segregation, storage, collection, packaging, symbol and labeling, transfer, and transportation of B3 waste. Therefore, an evaluation of B3 waste management at PT Pudak Scientific was conducted to find out about the suitability of B3 waste management with applicable regulations. In addition, the evaluation of B3 waste management at PT Pudak Scientific is also conducted for non-technical aspects which include regulations used in B3 waste management, permits related to B3 waste management, B3 waste management costs, B3 waste operational management, and human resources in B3 waste management. The results of the evaluation of B3 waste management at PT Pudak Scientitfic show that the technical aspects have sufficient achievement and the non-technical aspects also have good achievement. However, the management of B3 waste must still be considered again so that it is always in accordance with applicable regulations.
