Abstract

PT X is a power generation unit that harnesses geothermal energy in its production processes. The production process comprises three main systems: the separator, the steam turbine, and the generator. Activities within this production unit entail risks that could potentially lead to losses. This study aims to analyze the potential hazards and risks in the production unit of PT X by employing the Risk Matrix methodology, which includes three stages: hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control. The analysis reveals the existence of two types of risks in each unit, both categorized as medium risk levels. To mitigate the risk of workplace accidents, it is recommended to implement preventive maintenance on the production units and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all employees, under the supervision of the company's Health and Safety division.
