Abstract

Bagendung Landfill, located in Bagendung Village, Cilegon City, has an area of 8.5 Ha and has an open dumping waste management system. Bagendung Landfill will certainly have an age in accordance with the planning at the time of its creation and good waste management will make the age of the landfill in accordance with the plan and even increase. Landfill management requires supporting facilities to support the operational activities of the landfill itself, therefore an evaluation of the operational system at the landfill is needed to see if the landfill is operating optimally. The method in evaluating the operational system at Bagendung Landfill is to compare the requirements for landfill facilities as stated in PerMen PU No. 3 of 2013 by means of field observations and open interviews. From the results of the evaluation of facilities at Bagendung Landfill, there are facilities that do not meet the operational requirements of the landfill so that it is necessary to improve the operational system. Operational damage to Bagendung Landfill is influenced by the volume of incoming waste not proportional to the increase in operations at Bagendung Landfill.
