Abstract

This report discusses the results of a field survey that analyzes the environmental impact of surface runoff during the construction and operation phase of PT. X in Cirebon, Indonesia. The survey assesses hydrological changes and potential environmental risks due to land development, which alters the natural infiltration rate of rainwater due to increased impermeable surfaces. The findings suggest that surface runoff increased during construction, causing localized flooding, and is expected to continue to increase during the operational phase. To reduce this risk, the report recommends comprehensive drainage systems, the use of permeable materials, the establishment of green spaces, as well as regular monitoring of runoff and environmental conditions. These measures are expected to minimize the negative impact on the environment, ensuring more sustainable operation of the industry.
