Abstract

Domestic wastewater that is not treated and drained directly in water bodies can cause surface water pollution, especially in river water due to limited sanitation and domestic waste management.The purpose of this study was to identify the quality of wastewater, identify the problems of existing conditions and evaluate the performance of WWTP Cigugur Tengah RW 05 Central Cimahi District based on the quality of effluent wastewater. In this study using the method of observation and analysis related to the condition of wastewater quality, existing conditions and also the performance of the WWTP Cigugur Tengah RW 05. Wastewater quality WWTP Cigugur Tengah RW 05 has a concentration of TSS, ammonia, COD, oil & fat and total Coliform does not meet quality standards. The problem of the existing condition of WWTP Cigugur Tengah RW 05 is the accumulation of sludge, the malfunctioning of blowers, and the absence of bioball nets. The performance of WWTP Cigugur Tengah RW 05 can set aside TSS of 92.07 %, ammonia 33.98%, BOD 81.20%, COD 89.02%, oil & fat 69.36% and total Coliform 98.07%.
