Abstract

This study analyzes indoor air quality concerning the concentration of Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) in the garment factory CV. X, which has a production capacity of 20,000–22,000 pieces per month with 103 employees. Measurements were conducted over three days in the densely populated production area, which involves activities such as spreading, cutting, numbering, sewing, finishing, quality check, and packaging. The results showed that the concentrations of TVOC were within safe limits as per the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 1077/MENKES/PER/V/2011. The lowest TVOC concentration was recorded on the second day (0,027 ppm), and the highest on the third day (0,036 ppm). Although temperature and humidity did not significantly affect the concentrations, these conditions may impact worker comfort.
