Abstract

Expert systems is systems that try to adopt human knowledge to computer, so that computers can solve problems Heart disease cause a human death with fairly high percentage [Dr. dr. Anwar Santoso, Sp.JP, 2009]. Therefore, this expert system was built as an assistant for the doctor and diagnose the heart disease on patients early with a blood pressure as the input parameter values by using a measuring devices based on microcontroller and other additional parameters (heart rate, cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, C reactive protein , LDL, HDL and triglycerides). The Application built using backward chaining and fuzzy logic. The Fuzzy logic that used in this application is the certainty factor (CF) that supports the direct measure of the certainty facts. The tests that conducted is consisted of two tests, tools testing and systems testing. The blood pressure device’s test is using a blood pressure device based on microcontroller and spygnometer analog. System testing is done by entering the patient’s symptoms and the measurement results on blood pressure measurement devices. Output the results can be obtained in the form of heart disease according to the knowledge base and probability of value disease according to the calculation of CF. Hope the system itself can help the doctors to diagnosing the patient’s heart desease in early time.
